Originally planned by Peter the Great, Peterhof is a 300 acre sprawling network of palaces, mansions, parks, manicured gardens, and fountains that drew inspiration from the Palace of Versailles. The Grand Palace and Cascade overlook the Gulf of Finland. Peterhof is well known for its more than 120 fountains, some of which purposely lure unsuspecting visitors coming close only to soak them. The view looking up from the gulf to the Grand Cascade is one of the most famous in all of Russia.

The tour takes 5 hours and includes a private air conditioned vehicle, driver, professional licensed tour guide, and pre-bought tickets to both Grand palace and parks. The Palace is approximately 45 minutes drive outside of St. Petersburg.
